Production History

Riverside Theatre Works has been a non-profit theatre company for over 13 years and a school for the performing arts for over 27. In 2005, the company's mission changed to merge these two facets of our program, creating a rich and inviting family theatre. Since then, Riverside has been named "Best Theatre in Boston," our class offerings and enrollment have increased, and the talent pool of our theatre matches any professional stage in the area. Riverside Theatre Works now produces three large theatrical pieces a year (two musicals, one play) that employ adult and children actors as well as three additional theatrical offerings: opera, cabaret, children's theatre.
