Our goals as a Summer Theatre Program are to provide a place for students to learn and have fun at the same time.  We provide the experience of producing a musical show and the many aspects associated with a full-scale production.  Students gain theatre experience and also learn discipline and social skills.  Exposing students at a young age to theatre increases their self-confidence, their ability to communicate clearly and exposes them to working as an ensemble or a team.

Teen Broadway Boot Camp - Ages 13-19

Performances August 6th at 7pm, August 7th at 3pm, August 8^th at 3pm.

Rehearsals  Monday - Friday

July 12-August 6th   

4pm-9pm 

Ages 13-19 years

$500 / four-week session

An intensive three-week performance program for teens with a full-scale production. All roles are open!Placement auditions are May 25th from 7-9pm.  Every student will have a role.  Please call the office to sign up for an audition time.  Students should be prepared to read from the script and sing 32 bars of an upbeat song.  If interested in a lead role, please prepare a song from the show.

Creative Play and Dramatics Ages  4-7

In this very special dramatics class, the children work as an ensemble as they begin to learn the skills it takes to be on stage. They use music, dance and folktales to explore their voices and the way their bodies can become different characters and move through various environments.

In this three-week intense rehearsal process, each performer gets his/her moment in the spotlight at they prepare for a full-scale production. Working with professional teaching artists, the students learn how to work as ensemble while gaining solid acting, singing and dancing training!  

Kids Mini -Broadway Boot Camp Ages 8-13

In this intense one-week program, students learn songs, scenes and dances based around a theme and create their own musical review that is presented on Riverside’s Main Stage at the week’s end.
