Registration Policies
-FULL tuition must be paid upon registration to secure your spot in a class. Enrollment in performing arts programs is made on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes are limited in size and must reach minimum enrollment. If a camp reaches maximum enrollment, students will be added to a waiting list. If a camp does not reach minimum enrollment and is cancelled by RTW, a full refund will be issued.
-All balances for session 1 and yearlong classes must be paid in full no later than September 1, 2011. A late fee of $25/ week will be issued for up to three weeks before your spot in camp is forfeited without a refund.
-Students under 13 must be signed-in by a parent or guardian with their teacher upon arrival, and signed-out at pick-up. Once signed-in, students are expected to stay in supervised areas. Once they have been signed-out, RTW relinquishes responsibility of your child.
-RTW will make reasonable accommodations for the well-being of all our students, but expects parent/guardian support in behavioral and safety issues. If a student exhibits disruptive or harmful behavior, RTW staff will first speak with the child. If the behavior is repeated, parents/guardians will be contacted. Following parent intervention, behavioral problems may result in student expulsion without a refund.
-RTW has a no-tolerance policy for bullying or violent behavior in students or staff.
Student Expectations
-Students are expected to be respectful at all times while at RTW.
-Students must obey classroom and rehearsal rules set by RTW Faculty and Staff.
-Students must refrain from inappropriate and unsafe physical contact with others. Physical contact in performances is staged by professional staff with regard to safety and age-appropriateness.
-Students are expected to take their commitment seriously and arrive on time. If a student will be absent or late, please contact the office, 617.361.7024. In theatre, we plan activities and rehearsals based upon who will be in attendance. We appreciate your courtesy.
-RTW expects all students to help clean-up after themselves, and respect classrooms, rehearsal studios, and the theatre.
-Students should learn a lot, have fun, and expand their love of the performing arts!
