Dear Students & Parents:

Welcome to our 2007 -2008 performing arts school season. You will see our core group of classes listed in the following pages as well as some new classes. Please note that some course fees have increased due to our rising rental cost for our current space. One day Riverside hopes to own it’s own space to have more control over these costs - please note that this is the first price increase in three years.

When registering there is a one-time $25 registration fee for NEW STUDENTS ONLY. A deposit of $50 is due for each class you are enrolling in to reserve your space in class. This deposit is applied to your THIRD TRIMESTER PAYMENT. Your first trimester payment is due September 15. A late fee of $25 will be applied to all payments received after the 20th.

If you are registering for private lessons the first month’s lesson fee is due at registration. Private lesson payments are due on the first of each month.

Cancellation Policy

CLASSROOM COURSE - When you enroll in a classroom course you are enrolling for the FULL YEAR course. Dropping a class midway does not release you from the financial obligation. We keep our class sizes small to ensure a quality learning environment, but we also base our ability to support our operation cost on the enrollment fees for this size of class. Also the second half of the year classes are preparing for performances and students are cast in roles that are difficult to recast when some one drops late in the year.

PRIVATE LESSONS- A 24 -hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for the lesson. If you cancel in time, you will be credited for the that lesson the following month.

School Policies, Registration, Schedules

  • $25 registration fee due at time of registration for new students only (parent/guardian must fill out the registration form).$50 deposit for each class will insure your child's enrollment.

  • All dance, music and theatre classes are on a trimester payment and class schedule.Trimester year runs September 10th, 2007 through June 29th, 2008.Trimester Payments are due September 15th, 2007, December 15th, 2007 and March 15th, 2008.

  • RTW follows the Boston Public School schedule with regards to vacations, holidays, and snow days.

  • Private lessons will be billed on a monthly basis. Payments are due
    the first of each month. A $25 late fee will be charged after 7 days.

  • All classes are subject to minimum enrollment.
